Since the Evasi0n jailbreaking tool doesn’t support the latest Apple mobile firmware, a lot of users check on untethered jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 news hoping to hear that the Evad3rs or other hackers are working on the new exploit. Sadly, it seems that the creators of the Evasi0n program won’t present iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak till the next iOS 7 is launched by the Cupertino-based company.
While P0sizninja promises that he will be the one to launch the next untethered jailbreak, we still hope that the Evad3rs are also working or will be working on its development. According to Planetbeing, this group of hackers found new exploits that they will use to jailbreak Apple mobile firmware in the future. But they don’t say which version will be jailbroken.
Untethered Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 Status
Right now we hear no news on iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak utility being created or released this spring. Hackers don’t mention the exact version of the operating system they are planning to jailbreak so we can only get some ideas on what to expect.
We wonder if P0sixninja will contact GeoHot hacker to help him with the exploit launch or ask the Evad3rs for collaboration. What do you think about this?
Right now the status of untethered jailbreak for iOS v6.1.3 is unknown. We don’t hear much from p0sixninja, and we can only read the tweets from Planetbeing who assures that his team is looking for “a major release” which can be the next iOS 7 release because version 6.1.3 is already available to users.
Besides, this year’s WWDC should take place in June, and this leaves no time for Apple to launch significant update for its iPhone and iPad OS, thus iOS 7 might be this “major” launch hackers are waiting for.
Actually, there is no sense to create iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak untethered tool as the next firmware update can kill it just like v.6.1.3 has killed Evasi0n exploits perfect for iOS 6 up to iOS 6.1.2 jailbreaking.
