4. Open a terminal

If you have no idea precisely what I am talking about then go to your Applications >> Utilities and dual click the terminal software icon. And when you very lazy just like me simply press command space and simply enter in the word terminal after which enter ( I <3 spotlight). Inside the terminal type in “sudo port install libusb” , then press return.

After libusb is set up type in: “sudo port install cmake”, then return. Following after cmake is set up type in: “sudo port install pkgconfig” , then return and after that’s set up just get out of the terminal as is.

“sudo make install”

6a. Be certain your untethered jailbroken device has OpenSSH set up, if not go to cydia and install it.

6b. Connect your gadget to your own computer via the 30pin to usb connector and in the terminal window type out. “cd ~/Desktop/Pwnage/usbmuxd-1.0.6/python-client/” (press enter, essentially presume after every command press enter unless otherwise stated). Then “chmod x tcrelay.py”, next “./tcrelay.py -t 22:2222”. Now just get away from the terminal allow, Do not shut the window or absolutely nothing will work from past this aspect.

7. Dual click the Redsn0w archive to get then launch redsn0w out of the extract folder. This get’s pretty familiar to people who did the previous untetherted jailbreak. Click browse and choose the iOS 4.2.1 ipsw file and click Open.

Click Next,

It’ll go to provide the untethered jailbreaking code to the ipsw.

Choose “Jailbreak Monte (untether)”, You will be asked to select the iOS 4.2b3 ipsw you downloaded coming from your account then click Open, Then click Next. Your gadget should be linked but now power it down now and press next once it’s off. Now follow the instructions to put your device into DFU mode.

Delight in the progress bar and terminal screen light show, do not touch anything right up until redsn0w claims it’s finished.
